I have been gone for a while. This was due to various reasons. The biggie however is that I was diagnosed with Stage 3 cancer and for a brief moment I stopped. It was a scary experience but I have come through to the other side of it and am taking it one day at a time. Now all of my days are good ones.

These are the lessons I have learned from cancer. It is all small stuff. Be grateful, for everything. Appreciate your relationships. Believe in something passionately. Approach the world from a place of love. It is such an armor in trying time. And Smile. It changes everything for the better.

I am preparing for the end of the school year. I am looking forward to this summer in a way I never have before. Last summer was all hospital consults and such. I am looking forward to the simple things that the season presents. Walks in the park, biking, hiking, swimming, and exploring my city(NYC). I am so happy.

It’s 2010!!!! What an opportunity. I am thrilled to be in this moment. Are you? We have experienced so much since I started this blog-made most of the initial ones private- and now I am going public with my opinions again. Why? Why not?

It’s January 2 and I am feeling energized. I am feeling optimistic. I am feeling in charge. I expect to learn from you my friends. I expect to share my feelings, experiences, and success with you and perhaps you will learn something from me and share with me.

Life is the greatest gift of all. Treasure it. Honor it. By your actions show your gratitude for it.
